Where did the Cardinals win this game?

Points in the Paint – The Cardinals shot a blazing 72% below
the arc connecting on 26 of 36 shots below the arc. Westfield converted 18 shots below the arc thus giving Plainfield
a 16-point advantage. Sekou Harris, Denzel Johnson and Edward Anderson combined
to drop 7 field goals in the paint.

Rebounding – With both teams shooting over 60% from the floor,
there were not a lot of rebounding opportunities. When they were chances, the Cardinals took advantage by out
rebounding Westfield 20 – 14.

Defensive Effort – The Cardinals picked up 14 steals and
rejected 9 shots. Edward Anderson,
Sekou Harris, Christian Cook and Andrew Bellinger combined to pickup 6 steals
while Chad Jno-Lewis and Andrew Jordan both added their membership to the Block

game high 5 steals, dropped 3 assists and rejected 2 shots. Dii’Jon had a very efficient 3-1 assist to
turnover ratio.
2) Plainfield – Senior Jahmal Lane 6’4” {ER-24}
Jahmal shot 83% from below the arc, shot 50% from beyond the
arc and was perfect from the foul line to score 14 points. Lane also grabbed 2 rebounds, picked up 3
steals, dropped 3 assists and the original Block Party Crew member rejected a
game high 3 shots. Jahmal had zero
turnovers for the entire game. Jahmal
played a very Efficient game by having a 3-0 assist to turnover ratio.
3) Westfield – Senior Ozan Yecetep 6’5” {ER-19}
Ozan scored a team high 14 points on a perfect shooting
performance from the field. Ozan shot 7
for 7 from the field, grabbed 3 rebounds, picked up a steal and dropped a team
high 3 assists.
4) Plainfield – Senior Justin Sears 6’8” {ER-14}
Justin shot 57% from the floor and 71% from the free-throw
line to score 13 points. Justin
completed his stat line by grabbing a game high tying 4 rebounds (Plainfield
Denzel Christian and Westfield Michael Androconis also with 4 rebounds), 3
assists and 1 rejection.
5) Plainfield – Junior Denzel Christian 6’6” {ER-12}
Christian is getting back into shape coming off an
off-season injury. Christian shot a
perfect 3 for 3 from the floor to score 6 points. Christian also grabbed 4 rebounds and rejected 1 shot.
The efficiency rating is base on points scored, shooting accuracy, foul shooting accuracy, rebounds, assists, steals, defensive intensity, and assist – turnover ratio.
