The Final Recognition of a Spectacular Season

 
All Plainfield 2011/2012 Performers

Summation of the 2011 – 2012 Season
1st – This is the first time in Plainfield High School history that a basketball team has won back to back to back to back (4-peat) as Sectional Champions (2008-2009 & 2009-2010 – Group IV Section 2 & 2010-2011 & 2011-2012 – Group 3 Section 2).

2nd – This is the first time in Plainfield High School history that a basketball team has won back to back NJ State Group Championships (2010-2011 & 2011-2012 – New Jersey State Group 3)

3rd – This is the first time Plainfield has won the Union County Championship since 1979.

4th – Finished as the highest ranked public school for the 2nd consecutive year (first time in Plainfield High School History to repeat as the Public School State Champion).  Finished as the #2 ranked team in the State of New Jersey.  This ties the highest ranking ever in Plainfield High School History.*
