Patrick School vs Plainfield


A Fanatic Summation of the Patrick School vs. Plainfield Game

 

The Patrick School philosophy for this game was to go to the Dr. - The Patrick School went to Dr. Dre Bembry over and over to pull away to the easy victory over the Cardinals.  Bembry gave a record efficiency performance by breaking the 2-year efficiency record held by Plainfield’s Justin Sears.

Block Shots – Advantage (Plainfield)
Plainfield rejected 4 shot attempts while The Patrick School rejected 2.

Free Throw Shooting – Advantage (Patrick School)
The Patrick School converted 8 free throw attempts while Plainfield converted 7.

3-Point Shooting – Advantage (Plainfield)
Plainfield converted 3 3-point attempts while The Patrick School converted 1.  Plainfield’s Christian Cook connected on one of Plainfield’s 3-point conversions. Kymaal Champayne connected on The Patrick School’s only 3-point make for the game.

Rebounds – Advantage (Patrick School)
The Patrick School grabbed 24 rebounds while Plainfield grabbed 23. 

Plainfield could not overcome the strategy of The Patrick School attacking the basket.  The Patrick School controlled the game as seen in the following statistical categories.

Turnovers – Advantage (Patrick School)
The Patrick School committed 13 turnovers compared to Plainfield’s 21.  This gave the Celtics an 8-possession advantage or a potential 16-point advantage in the game.

Steals – Advantage (Patrick School)
The Patrick School picked up 11 steals while Plainfield picked up 7. 

Points in the Paint – Advantage (Patrick School)
The Patrick School converted 27 field goals below the arc compared to 15 by Plainfield.  This gave The Patrick School a 24-point advantage in this category.

Assists – Advantage (The Patrick School)
The Patrick School dished out 14 assists compared to Plainfield’s 10.  The Patrick School Darian Collins dished out a game high 6 assists. 

 

The Cardinal Fanatic Efficiency Players of the game


1)      Patrick School - Senior DeAndre Bembry 6’6” – {ER-48}*
Dr. Dre gave the best efficiency performance in the history of the Cardinal Fanatic analyzation of High School basketball games.  The Doctor definitely was operating today and he was not accepting any co-payments.  Bembry definitely ensured an efficient game by not taking any 3-point attempts and focused on attacking the basket.  The St. Joseph University bound Bembry shot a sizzling 75% from the field and was perfect from the foul line to score a game high 35 points.  Bembry completed his record performance night by grabbing a game high 7 rebounds, snatching a game high 6 steals, dropping off 2 assists and rejecting a game high tying 2 shot attempts (Plainfield’s Denzel Christian also rejected 2 shot attempts).

2)      Plainfield – Senior Denzel Christian 6’6” – {ER-19}
Denzel Christian shot 75% from below the arc.  DC scored a team high tying 13 points (Denzel Johnson also scored 13 points), grabbed a team high 5 rebounds and rejected a game high 2 shot attempts.  Denzel completed an efficient night by only committing 1 turnover.

3)      Plainfield – Senior Denzel Johnson 6’1” – {ER-13}
Johnson shot perfect from beyond the arc.  DJ scored a team high tying 13 points, grabbed 4 rebounds, picked up a team high tying 2 steals (Clearance Hoover and Christian Cook also with 2 steals) and dropped off an assist.  Johnson only committed one turnover for the entire game.

4)      Patrick School – Senior Daniel Knight 6’6” – {ER-11}
D Knight shot at higher percentage than his teammate DeAndre by shooting at an 80% clip from the field.  Daniel also picked up 2 rebounds and picked up 1 steal.  Knight completed a very efficient night by not committing any turnovers.

5)      Plainfield – Junior Clearance Hoover 6’2” – {ER-11}
Hoover shot 50% from below the arc and shot 50% from beyond the arc.  Hoover grabbed 3 rebounds, picked up 2 steals, dropped off 3 assists and rejected 1 shot attempt to fill up nearly every statistical category.

6)      Patrick School – Senior Chris Regus 6’3” – {ER-11}
The St. Anthony transfer was perfect from the free throw line, grabbed 3 rebounds, picked up a steal and dropped off 4 assists.  Regus finished the game with an impressive 4:1 assist to turnover ratio from his guard position.

 

The efficiency rating is base on points scored, shooting accuracy, foul shooting accuracy, rebounds, assists, steals, defensive intensity, and assist – turnover ratio.
