ALL GEE GEE BROWN TOURNAMENT – 1^st Team

 

1)      Team Finesse – Erik Anderson -  The 6’9” Newark Tech H.S. alum shot 70% from the field for the entire tournament to garner the 2^nd highest amount of points scored for the entire tournament.  Anderson also had an all time tournament record 12 rejections and grabbed the 2^nd highest amount of rebounds for the entire tournament.

2)      Team Davis – Jerrel Thompson – The 4^th all-time leading scorer in Plainfield High School history showed his offensive skills by connecting on an all time tournament high 98 points.  Jerrel averaged nearly 25 point per game, shot 66% from the field, 50% from beyond the arc and 91% from the free throw line.  Jerrel also connected on a tournament high tying 12 3-point field goals. (Justin Exum of Team Finesse also with 12 3-point field goals)

3)      Team Finesse – Justin Exum – The Brooklyn native connected at a 43% rate from deep to knock down a tournament high tying 12 3-point field goals.  Justin was also perfect from the free throw line for the entire tournament.  Justin scored the third highest amount of points and garnered the third highest amount of steals for the entire tournament.

4)      Team Finesse – Jeff Adkins – The one time Plainfield native, showed the crowed that his game has graduated to another level.  Jeff scored the 4^th most points in the tournament on 59% shooting from the field and 88% shooting from the free throw line.  Jeff also dished out a tournament high tying 9 assists (Mike Gordon also with 9 assists).

5)      Bada Bing – Justin Sears – The addition of Sears helped Bada Bing regain the Gee Gee Brown Tournament Crown.  Sears shot 67% from the field and was 100% from the foul line for the entire tournament.  Sears had the 2^nd highest amount of rejections for the entire tournament.
