2nd Team All Efficiency 2012 – 2013 Season

Top Efficiency Performance of the 2012 – 2013 Season in a Plainfield Game – 2nd Team All Efficiency

6) Roselle Catholic – Sophomore Malachi Richardson 6’7” {ER-26} vs. Plainfield
Malachi was 100% from beyond the arc and 100% from the free throw line to score a game high 22 points.  The top 100 player in the nation for his class also grabbed 6 rebounds, dished out a game high 4 assists and rejected 1 shot.

7) Roselle Catholic – Senior Tyler Roberson 6’10” {ER-26} vs. Plainfield
Tyler carried Roselle through their early game slump.  Tyler scored a game high 26 points shooting 69% from the floor.  The future Orangeman grabbed a team high 7 rebounds, picked up 1 steal and rejected a game high 4 shot attempts.

8) Plainfield – Senior Wade Brown 6’1” {ER-25} vs. Roselle Catholic
Wade WB Brown had his best game of his career.  WB dropped a team high 23 points shooting 56% from below the arc, a sizzling hot 75% from 3-point land and a solid 80% from the free-throw line.  The 6’1” guard showed off his leaping ability grabbing a game high 8 rebounds, picking up a steal and dropping off 2 assists.

9) Plainfield – Sophomore Jachai Simmons 6'6" {ER-24} vs. Immaculata
Jachai is looking like he is adjusting to strength and speed of varsity play.  Simmons shot 60% from below the arc, grabbed a game high 12 rebounds, picked up 2 steals, dropped off a game high tying 4 assists (Immaculata’s Michael Prang also with 4 assists) and 3 rejections.  Jachai completed an efficient night by committing only 1 turnover for the entire game.

10) Linden – Sophomore Joshua Carter 6'1" {ER-24} vs. Plainfield
Is Carter the next Desmond Wade?  To be mentioned in the same sentence even if it is a question is complementary.  Carter led all scorers dropping 16 points on 60% shooting from the field and knocking down 4 of 4 free throws.  The guard also grabbed a game high 7 rebounds, picked up 2 steals and dropped off an assist.  Carter only committed 1 turnover from his guard position.  Off of this statistical performance, the Cardinal Fanatic will say that Carter should be in the discussion of the next talented guard out of Linden.
