Fanatic Summation of the Plainfield vs. Elizabeth Game

December 23, 2010

Plainfield converted 14 shots below the arc to Elizabeth’s 11. Plainfield connected on 7 3-point conversions to Elizabeth’s 4.

Where did the Cardinals win this game? They were able to compensate the poor free throw shooting and a high number of turnovers with their defense. Allen “Lock em Down” Brown was missed in the Westfield game but his presence in the Elizabeth game helped the Cardinals on the defensive end. The Cardinals interior defense was exceptional. The Cards totaled 14 rejections and altered nearly every attempt in the paint. The Cards also out rebounded Minutemen 40 to 13.
