Savage led Central to a 73 – 40 annihilation of Plainfield.

The Cardinals could only mustard up on one statistical
category as Central dominated on nearly every aspect of the game.

Central dished out 14 assists while Plainfield dished out 7
assists. JaQue Wilson dished out a team high tying 2 assists for Plainfield.

Central connected on 7 treys while Plainfield connected on
4. This gave Central a 9-point

1)
Central - Junior Keywon Savage 6’3” – {ER-36}
There was a Savage in Plainfield
on the prowl. Keywon Savage that is, as
he was beasting on my Cardinals. Savage
was a planet Mercury hot. Savage shot
60% from below the arc, shot a call the fire brigade 86% from beyond the arc
and 100% from the free throw line to score a game high 25 points. Kewyon “The Beast” Savage also ripped down 6
boards, picked up 2 steals and dropped off a game high tying 4 assists (Nasir
Farmer and Yasim Smith of Central also had 4 assists). Kewyon completed one of the best efficiency performances
of the year by having an impressive 4:1 assist to turnover ratio.

Central – Senior Nasir Farmer 6’1” – {ER-23}
Yes there was a Farmer in the
house because he ploughed right over my Cardinals. Nasir shot 75% from below the arc and 80% from the free throw
line to score in double digits for the game.
Farmer also grabbed 3 rebounds, picked up a game high 7 steals and
dished out a game high tying 4 assists.

Plainfield – Sophomore Jachai Simmons 6’6” – {ER-17}
Jachai was perfect from below the
arc and from the free throw line to score a team high tying 11 points
(Christian Cook also scored 11 points for the Cardinals). Jachai grabbed 4 rebounds, dished out a team
high tying 2 assists and rejected a game high tying 2 shot attempts
(Plainfield’s Jordan Sears also with 2 rejections).

Central – Senior Yasim Smith 6’0” – {ER-14}
Yasim shot 60% from below the arc and 75% from the
free throw line to score 12 points.
Smith also grabbed 2 rebounds, picked up 2 steals and dropped off a game
high tying 4 assists.

Central – Senior Taji Williams 6’4” – {ER-14}
Taji shot 57% from below the arc
and 75% from the free throw line to score 11 points. Taji grabbed a game high
tying 9 rebounds (Jordan Sears of Plainfield also with 9 rebounds), dished out
an assist and rejected 1 shot attempt.
Other note worthy performances
Central – Senior Nijaron Palmer 6’4” – {ER-11}
Palmer was perfect from the field, grabbed 2 rebounds and
rejected 1 shot attempt. Nijaron had an
efficient night by committing 0 turnovers for the entire game.
Plainfield – Junior Jordan Sears 6’5” – {ER-10}
Jordan shot 60% from the field, grabbed a game high tying 9
rebounds, picked up a steal and rejected a game high tying 2 shot attempts.
The efficiency rating is base on points scored, shooting accuracy, foul shooting accuracy, rebounds, assists, steals, defensive intensity, and assist – turnover ratio.
