A Fanatic Summation of the Piscataway vs Plainfield Game


Where did the Cardinals win this game?

        Free Throw Line. The Cardinals shot 90% from the foul line connecting on 18 of 20 free throws attempted.
        Rebounds – The Cardinals controlled the glass grabbing 41 rebounds to Piscataway’s 21. 
        Assists – The balance scoring is an attribute to sharing the ball.  The Cardinals dished out 16 assists.  Ahmid Williams led the way with 6 assists.  Ahmid gave an exceptional efficient performance by obtaining a 6-1 assist to turnover ratio.
        Defense – The Cardinals were able to deny a potential 22 points by rejecting 11 shot attempts.

1) Plainfield – Senior Justin Sears 6’8” {ER-39}
Sears has announced that the paint department has been closed.  Justin grabbed a game high 16 rebounds and rejected a game high 6 shots to shutdown the paint area.  Sears was also efficient on the offensive end as he shot 50% from the floor and 91% from the free throw line to score 22 points and earn another double double statistical performance.  Since the paint department was closed, Sears decided to be in the nature of giving as Justin dropped off 3 assists to give a statistical efficient performance. 

2) Plainfield – Senior Sekou Harris 6’0” {ER-26}
Sekou Harris shot 64% from below the arc and was perfect from the foul line to score a game high 25 points.  Harris missed a double double by 1 rebound as he grabbed 9 rebounds for the game.

3) Plainfield – Senior Edward Anderson 6’4” {ER-13}
Ed was one of 3 cardinals to score in double figures.  Ed shot 56% from the floor to score 10 points.  Ed also grabbed 4 rebounds and only committed one turnover for the entire game.

4) Plainfield – Senior Dii’Jon Allen-Jordan 6’6” {ER-10}
Dr. Dunkadelic was at it again.  Dii’Jon is BACK!! The high flier made it look like his football legs are gone and his basketball legs are now here.  Dii’Jon highflying dunks electrified the Piscataway crowd.  Dii’Jon scored 6 points, grabbed 5 rebounds, dished out 4 assists, and had 3 rejections to have an efficient afternoon.


5) Piscataway – Senior Thaddeus Dalton 6'6” {ER-9}
The son of Ralph Dalton and God Son of Patrick Ewing showed no intimidation amongst the big men of Plainfield.  Thaddeus shot 50% from the floor to score 10 points.  Dalton grabbed 3 rebounds, dropped a dime, and rejected 1 shot.  Dalton completed his efficient afternoon by committing only 1 turnover.

 

The efficiency rating is base on points scored, shooting accuracy, foul shooting accuracy, rebounds, assists, steals, defensive intensity, and assist – turnover ratio.
