Cardinal Fanatic Efficient 5
1) Plainfield – Senior Justin Sears 6’8” {ER-30}
Sears announced the pending closing of over 100 stores. With this news, Sears decided to shut down
the Paint Department. Well the future
Yale financier has decided to expand his business into chewing gum industry.
Mr. Doublemint shot 73% from the floor to score 17 points and grabbed 13 boards
to earn another double double game. But
a business cannot be successful unless you are Efficient. Sears did not commit a single turnover for
the entire game.
2) Ridge – Senior Dylan Kerwin 6’4” {ER-20}
The Kerwin twins have to be the best shooting identical
twins in the state. They obviously
learned a thing of two from Madlinger the “Mad Bomber” as the twins are
explosively accurate from deep. Today
Dylan was the twin who won the battle for the last cookie in the jar as Dylan
shot 55% from beyond the arc to score a game high 22 points. Dylan was also very Efficient as he
committed 0 turnovers for the game.
3) Plainfield – Senior Jahmal Lane 6’4” {ER-15}
Mr. Steady as he goes Lane has been one of the most
Efficient player this year for the Cards.
Jahmal “I’m Taking it to the” Lane shot 63% from the floor to score a
team high 18 points. Lane added to his
statistical profile by grabbing 4 rebounds, picking up 4 steals, and dropping 2
dimes.
4) Ridge – Senior Jack Kerwin 6’4” {ER-15}
The other identical twin could not let Dylan steal the statistical
show. It’s a toss up from game to game
which identical twin will be the go to guy.
While Dylan did the swishing, Jack was doing the dishing as he had a
team high tying 3 assists (Dillon Mahon also with 3 assists). Jack added to his stat line by connecting on
a trey, perfection from the foul line, grabbed 3 rebounds, and finished his
stat line with 2 steals. Jack finishes
the game with a not to shabby 3-1-assist turnover ratio.
5) Plainfield – Senior Sekou Harris 6’0” {ER-9}
Harris does what is needed to win. Harris scored 9 points, which was well below his season average,
but it was the other things he did that helped the Cardinals win. The smallest starter for the Cardinals
grabbed 4 rebounds, picked up 2 steals and dished out a game high 4 assists.
The efficiency rating is base on points scored, shooting accuracy, foul shooting accuracy, rebounds, assists, steals, defensive intensity, and assist – turnover ratio.
