Cardinal Fanatic Efficient 5
1) Plainfield – Senior Justin Sears 6’8” {ER-25}
Some have not received the news that the Sears Paint
Department has been shut down. Justin
reinforced that message with a game high 8 rebounds and a game high 4
rejections to emphasize Sears commitment to being more Efficient. Justin’s efficiency was in full practice as
he shot 83% from the floor and 80% from the free-throw line to score a game
high 14 points. Sears also had a game
high tying 3 steals (Plainfield’s Jahmal Lane and Taylor Plummer also with 3
steals).
2) Plainfield – Senior Jahmal Lane 6’4” {ER-18}
Jahmal is arguably the most improve perimeter player in the
state. Lane continues his consistent
efficiency with his jump shot and in this game it was no different. Lane was perfect from beyond the arc and
perfect from the free throw line to score 12 points. Lane was a stat sheet stuffer as he finished off the night with 4
rebounds, a game high tying 3 steals, dropped off 3 assists, did not commit a
turnover and the old man of the Block Party Crew rejected 1 shot. To exemplify Lane’s efficiency, he had a 3-0
assist to turnover ratio for the game.
3) Plainfield – Senior Dii’Jon Allen-Jordan 6’6” {ER-13}
Dii’Jon was like mustard as he added extra sauce to his
shooting Efficiency. Dii’Jon shot 83%
from the floor to score 10 points for the game. Mr. Dunkadelic missed only 1 shot attempt from the floor shooting
5 for 6 from the field. But it was not
all about assaulting the rim with his two handed throw downs, Allen-Jordan also
had 3 rebounds, 2 steals, and dropped 1 dime to complete his stat line.
4) Plainfield – Senior Sekou Harris 6’0” {ER-12}
Sekou “Trey Swish” Harris connected on 75% of his shots from
the floor. What is even more
impressive, all of his shots were from beyond the arc. Sekou was in-line to have an exceptional
night but was restricted to 16 minutes of playing time. Harris also grabbed 2 rebounds, had 2
steals, and dropped 3 assists.
5) Plainfield – Senior Taylor Plummer 6’5” {ER-11}
To score 3 points and be in the top 5 of the Efficiency
Rating, you must have to do other things well.
Taylor played his first game as a Cardinal and connected on his only
3-point attempt. Taylor also had a game
high tying 3 steals and a game high 8 assists in minimal amount of playing
time. The 6’5” playmaker had a near 3-1
assist to turnover ratio in his Cardinal debut.
The efficiency rating is base on points scored, shooting accuracy, foul shooting accuracy, rebounds, assists, steals, defensive intensity, and assist – turnover ratio.
